I believe that every progressive society is fueled by the power of
informed and engaged people.
It is important to understand the world.
It is important to believe that you can change the world.
It is important to get involved.
My pursuit of a better world began on another continent,
under an oppressive political regime. Corruption was rampant,
political tyranny was blatant - yet people felt unable and impotent
to make a change. So I set out to search for freedom - the freedom
to be all I could be; the freedom to choose how I wanted to live;
the freedom to let my children choose their own destiny - instead of
following a prescribed path.
Through my journey I met wonderful people, had sparkling experiences
and learned a lot, but my most precious gift remains being true to
myself and my own path.
And this is my truth.
I believe that we have the right to a healthy and sustainable future.
I believe that inside each of us is locked the responsibility for the future,
and we can unlock the power only if we all work together.
Every one of my projects is founded on my firm belief that we, the
people, are the agents of change. Through the use of innovative
media, I seek to engage people in a yearning for a deeper
understanding of the world; and to inspire them to take action - any
action.
